Most Sundays, a special offering called “Change 4 Change” is received to help support a variety of causes that are dear to our hearts. These include the Fort Madison Food Pantry; the Backpack Ministry for Central Lee School District children; Camp Courageous in Monticello, Iowa; the Midwest seminaries of the United Church of Christ; Families in Need, which is a new project which simply provides a $50 monthly grocery card to local families struggling economically; and many, many other causes and projects.
